Fred Coon is founder of Stewart, Cooper & Coon. He is a Licensed Employment Agent, a Nationally Certified Job and Career Transition Coach, a Behavioral Consultant and a Certified Disc Administrator. He has written and advised thousands of executives on their job search campaigns. Mr. Coon also has appeared on affiliate stations of ABC, NBC, and CBS as an expert on the job and employment market. He has been featured as a career expert in the Wall Street Journal and other major national publications.He is an active contributing author, providing job advice, to nationally known web sites such as Monster and 6-Figure Jobs, among others. He is publisher of the nationally acclaimed bi-weekly e-newsletter, The Gladiator, which enjoys over 5,000 monthly subscribers worldwide. He was one of the pioneers of virtual service delivery, providing coaching and client services using the internet as a medium of providing those services to clients.
He authored the best-selling career book titled, Ready Aim Hired, now in its third printing. He has two new books that are targeted for publication in 2010 and 2011. The first focuses on behavioral interviewing as a method to reduce cost-of-hire. The second specifically targets commissioned officers who are leaving the United States Armed Forces and provides real-world situations and examples on how to make that transition personally meaningful and financially rewarding.
He is a national lecturer and has presented workshops covering a wide range of career subject matter, for numerous educational, professional, business and management conferences. Mr. Coon is a member of the Arizona Technology Council – Policy Advisory Committee. He has been on the executive team responsible for two different companies that achieved multiple listings in Inc. Magazine’s top 500 fastest growing companies in America.
