Below is the core structure of the SC&C approach to every search assignment: Each search assignment is further refined to meet the unique needs of each client.

  1. Understand Client’s Needs (week 1)

  2.  Confirm Search Strategy (weeks 1-2)
  3. Early Stage Recruiting (weeks 2-3)
    • Utilize SC&C’s extensive database and network
    • Conduct research
    • Initiate calls
  4. Initial Candidates Presented (week 3)
    • Produce 3-5 candidates
    • Review resumes with client to calibrate the search
    • Additional recruiting
  5.  Assessment & Preferences (weeks 4-5)
    • Face-to-face interviews with SC&C
    • Informal candidate due diligence
    • Formal candidate references
  6. Candidates Presented (weeks 6-7)
    • Present strong slate of candidates
    • Provide summary of candidate references (formal and informal) and SC&C’s notes & interviews
  7.  Interviews With Client (weeks 8-9)
    • Face-to-face interviews with finalists
    • SC&C manages communications and scheduling
  8. Selection (week 10)
    • SC&C re-qualifies candidate’s motivation and drivers
    • Counsel and advise on opportunity
    • Finalist is chosen
  9.  Offer Stage (week 11)
    • SC&C works with client to develop an offer package compelling to both parties
    • Offer presentation & acceptance
    • Closure
  10. FOLLOW-UP & START DATE (week 12)
    • SC&C ensures a smooth transition and onboarding for the new hire
